I’ve always strugggled with health complications
How My Journey Started

"I knew I needed to do something as I was tired of living this way"
My psychological health was greatly impacted by my physiological health, evoking feelings of anger, and negativity which caused me to constantly argue with people around me. This affected several of my relationships and was creating a miserable life.
This lead me to seek out the help of a bodybuilding coach (not knowing a damn thing about health at the time). The main focus was “getting shredded,” not understanding how much internal health affects one’s physique. Interestingly enough, shedding the weight had really helped with my sleep apnea, but still, quite a few health complications were present. At this time hunger was ignited in me to learn more. I became determined to solve what was going on in my body.

Gaining Knowledge and Confidence
This gave me the confidence to begin to help others, and I did and the joy that it brought me was some of the most I had ever felt in my life, and I knew this was
my purpose.
I sought out to learn through as many resources as I could, research papers, courses, mentorships, I was addicted. But through all the learning and helping others, I was still unable to help myself. I was determined to correct my issues, and this is what sent me down the functional health realm (insert functional health description here).
This enabled me to begin to understand why the human body does what it does based on more than just the food you eat. Why certain environments can be beneficial to some but negative for others, and why certain training programs cause the effects they do, whether that be good or bad. What genes do you what and how they impact your physiology, how hormones impact every aspect of your life, how to read and understand complex testing, the importance of gut health and so much more.
Through all of this I was able to discover (via testing), a severe overgrowth of bad bacteria and a condition known as SIBO (small intestinal bacteria overgrowth). As well as severe hormonal and neurotransmitter imbalance and some genetic defects that contributed to my health complications. Of course, this was something at that moment in time I was incapable of addressing on my own, so I was connected with my current mentor and genius to guide me step-by-step to give my body the ability to heal itself from within.

The Good Thing About Hitting Rock Bottom, There’s Only One Way Left To Go and That’s Up!
Having these experiences has given me the knowledge and understanding to help those with even the most extreme conditions achieve their highest quality of life.
After struggling with health issues from a young age, I was eventually diagnosed with an extremely severe case of sleep apnea, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and a pre-diabetic status. Add in some struggles with substance abuse by this point, and I guess you could say I was hitting rock bottom. The good thing about hitting rock bottom is there is only one way left to go, and that’s up! This was the pivotal moment in my life when I became infatuated with functional health and began my journey…
